The LCMV-beamformers are widely used in
many applications but to steer array pattern in some direction
we need to use phase shifters or additional delay lines for presteering.
In this paper, we introduce simple constraints in the
DOA of the useful signal. These constraints have a form of a
block-diagonal matrix. In a case when DOA is the broadside,
simple constraints are equal to Frost’s constraints.
