The influence of the magnetic field in the cathode space on the synthesis of metal oxide nanopowders by vacuum-arc spraying was studied. It was found that, depending on the geometry of the magnetic field and the pressure of gaseous medium in plasma-chemical reactor, particular conditions which enhance the efficiency of CuO synthesis, appear.
