We present a complete sequence and an annotation of the mitochondrial genome of the woolly mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius) found in 2012 on Maly Lyakhovsky Island (North-Eastern Siberia, Russia). The genome was 16,851 bp long and contained 13 protein-coding, 22 tRNA, and 2 rRNA genes. It was AT reach (61.3%) with A = 32.9%, T = 28.4%, C = 25.3%, and G = 13.4%. © 2018 The Author(s). THE IMPACT OF ISLAND CITY IN THE POST-APARTHEID SOUTH AFRICA: FOCUS ON BANTUSTANS
Hangwelani, Hope Magidimisha; Lovemore, Chipungu (Siberian Federal University, Сибирский федеральный университет, Красноярск, Krasnoyarsk, 2019-05)The apartheid doctrine of racial segregation has been inextricably bound up with urbanization. The creation of so-called ‘Homelands’ or ‘Bantustans’ for the African majority population, was largely an attempt to constrain ... -
Island model with genetic algorithm for solution of crystal structure from X-ray powder diffraction data
Aleksandr, N Zaloga; Sergey, V Burakov; Igor, S Yakimov; Konstantin, A Gusev; Petr, S Dubinin (2019-06)In this paper, we consider the problem of the study of polycrystalline substances: restoration of a substance atomic structure by full-profile analysis of powder diffraction data. This task is specific since it is not ... -
