Аннотация:
In the Far East of the Russian Federation in the Primorsky Krai since the mid of 1970-s, an open-cast mining of brown and hard coal deposits In recent
years coal mining in the territory of Krai is carried out by four coal mines with a total production capacity of 8 million tons per year. Based on the
results of processing satellite images on mining landscapes of existing and coal mines, the coefficients of self-healing of vegetation cover in the
range of 0.52–0.99. It has been established that in the warm and humid climate of the Primorsky Krai, the dumping of the surfaces of rock dumps
from a mixture of quaternary rocks and the soil layers accelerated formation and development of all types of vegetation cover, which meets the requirements
of restoring the ecological balance in the conduct of economic activity by mining enterprises.
