The requirements for intergumentary refiing flxing material, used for melting of copper matrix
composite alloys (CA) are investigated. It offers the most effective composition of flx, not only
protecting the melt from oxidation by oxygen, but also from the penetration of hydrogen, which
can signifiantly improve the mechanical properties of the fiished product.
