Abstract:
It is known that quality of received telemetry fully depends on the hardware architecture of receiving systems in modern satellite tracking and command systems. Modern signal processing algorithms allow reducing hardware to the size of one PLD circuit board, reducing, thus, the size of the receiver. The problem of generating harmonic signals with a discontinuous phase is one to be solved for the assembly of miniature computational architectures. In this paper we shall describe a method which applies double computing pipelining for the hardware realization of the digital harmonic signal generator with a selected frequency. The method described in this paper allows to generate a quadrature harmonic signal during one cycle with a pipelined stall value of greater than one.
